Wolves Clinch Playoff Spot

Wolves clinch playoff spot with a huge 5 – 2 win.

In the first period, the Saints got off to a quick start at 3:55 on a goal from Don, who would add another at the 10 minute mark for a 2 – 0 lead assisted by Brandy Edwards. They would nearly score a third goal, but Wolves goalie Torrance Ho made an incredible save to keep his team in the game. It would pay off three minutes later with Saverio Romano scoring to cut the lead in half to 2 – 1, assisted by Matt Vocino.

In the second period, the Wolves would tie the game 2 – 2 on the power play from Saverio Romano at 6:50. Saverio Romano would later score the go-ahead goal at 13:39 on a sweet shot that went off the post and into the net.

In the third period, the Wolves goalie continued his strong play stopping a breakaway opportunity from Don keeping the lead for his team. Saverio Romano would add two more goals at 7:38 to seal the victory for the Wolves, which included an incredible high looping shot. Both teams have now made the playoffs with first-place still up for grabs.
