Veteran Bruno Haché Competing at Fourth Paralympics

br

Bruno Haché is competing in his fourth Paralympic games for the Canadian men’s Goalball team at the 2016 Rio Paralympics. He was one of the top Canadian scorers at the 2015 Toronto Parapan Am games, which led to the bronze medal and a berth at these Paralympic games.

Playing Goalball since the age of 23, he is very passionate about the game and it has helped him gain a lot of confidence and pride over the years. Bruno started losing his vision at the age of 18, because of a hereditary condition.

Follow Canada as a look to ride the momentum from the bronze medal win at the 2015 Parapan Am games as they compete at the 2016 Paralympics.

The Canadian men would end up losing a tough quarterfinal 5 – 4 to Lithuania, while the woman lost to the United States 2 – 0.

Goalball is a truly exciting sport, unfortunately, there was no live streaming. Someone did try to get streaming in Canada with a petition asking the CBC to stream the sport.
