Debby Elnatan a stay-at-home mom came up with the idea, the harness allows children and parents to walk in unison. She found out that her son Rotem had cerebral palsy and would be confined to a wheelchair for the rest of his life, so with determination to make her son’s life as normal as possible, Debby created the Upsee.
The harness is fastened to the adult’s waist, this enables them to pull the child up to a standing position using another harness attached to the child’s shoulders and legs. The child and adult then fasten the shoe bindings which helps the two take steps in unison.
