On a successful opening day for Canada, they were able to pick up two silvers and one bronze medals.

Joshua Dueck for Para-Alpine Skiing

Bronze Medal
Mac Marcoux for Para-Alpine Skiing

Curling
Draw One: Canada won 6-3 over Great Britain.
Draw Two: Canada won 5-4 over host Russia.

Sledge Hockey
Canada won 10-1 over Sweden.
