New look Kings gets first win of season

The new look Kings won their first game of the season 6 – 2, breaking the Bulldogs winning streak.

In the first period, Jerry Mariano got the Bulldogs off to an early lead, assisted by Christine Pacheco who worked hard in front of the Kings net. However Isaac would answer for the Kings two minutes later to tie the game at one goal a piece. The goal was assisted by newly acquired David Donnelly who they got in a trade.

In the second period, the Kings started taking control of the game scoring two goals to take a 3 – 1 lead. David Donnelly would score his first goal as a king, and also assist on Sharmin Alam’s goal.

In the third period, the Kings want continue their dominance with three more goals. Two were scored by Sharmin Alam assisted by Isaac, and David Donnelly would add one more. Jerry Mariano would score another for the Bulldogs assisted by Meghan Hines, but it would be too little too late.
