In their first match up of the 2015-16 season both teams were eager to start off with a win.

Both teams came to play exchanging excellent chances right out the gate, however it was the Lake Raiders who drew first blood, on a Jeremy Schofield rising shot past Mustang net-minder Brad Gordon at 5:31. The Lake Raiders built on their lead, off a identical Jeremy Schofield solo effort at 6:15.  Not to be outdone, the Mustangs Nicole Gordon buried a one-timer off a sweet Roberto Monteiro (Sergio Correia) pass at 7:11 to close out the periods scoring.

The second frame saw the intensity build however neither side was able to capitalize on the periods three power plays as the score remained the same 2-1 Lake Raiders.

The third started with a Mustangs man advantage and while they pushed hard to tie things up, The Lake Raiders penalty killers stood tall preserving the lead. Then at 5:03 the Lake Raiders Jeremy Schofield (unassisted) added another with his first hat trick of the season and a 3-1 Lake Raider lead and finally with the game winding down, the Lake Raiders would add another with rookie Joey Shek scoring his very first TPWHL goal putting a 4-1 Lake Raiders win in the books.

Be sure to catch the next power wheelchair hockey game this Saturday starting at 12:30 PM at Sunnyview Public School.
