In this first match up of the new year between the Lake Raiders and the Saints, It was the Lake Raiders who struck early on a Jeremy Schofield (Sean Celsie) goal at 1:47. During stoppage of play Jeremy Schofield was called on a Equipment violation minor putting the Saints on the power play, which they capitalized on with a Brandy Edwards (unassisted) goal at 3:00. The Lake Raiders responded with an full strength marker by Jeremy Schofield (Steven Davis) at 4:30. 7.35 saw the Lake Raiders build on they’re lead on a Sean Celsie (Jeremy Schofield) goal, adding yet another off the stick of the red hot Sean Celsie (Jeremy Schofield) at 11:24, taking a 4-1 lead to the second.

The second period saw the Lake Raiders Jeremy Schofield (unassissted) score the lone goal at 5:53. While the 9:08 mark had the Saints D working hard, perfectly killing off a Brandy Edwards penalty keeping damage to a minimum.

The third frame echoed the first with a flurry of goals from Jeremy Schofield (unassisted) of the Lake Raiders at 4:15. then with the Lake Raiders Brandon Myrie in the box, the tenacious Matthew Cockburn (Brandy Edwards) banged in a power play marker for the Saints at 6:17, followed shortly by a Brandy Edwards (unassisted) shot cutting the Lake Raiders lead in half, giving the Saints some life with just under 5 minutes remaining. However the Lake Raiders kept on rolling adding 2 more from Jeremy Schofield assisted by Elyas Abdullah at 11:49 and Sean Celsie with his fourth point on the day at 14:36, for the 8-3 Lake Raiders win.

In what spare time he has, Neil is an Goaltender in the Toronto Power Wheelchair Hockey League, an occasional public speaker as well a founding member of Equal Grounds.
