King’s move closer to playoff spot with win over Lake Raiders

With the King’s fighting for a playoff spot, the stage was set for a intense match up. Action started early on a Jeremy Schofield (unassisted) snap-shot beating Kings net minder Leo Xu for the 1-0 Lake Raiders lead. 7:50 saw the King’s David Donnelly (Sharmin Alam) jump on a loose ball, scoring his 23rd on the season taking a 1-1 tie to the second.

In the second frame Sharmin Alam’s (Issaac Vescio) persistence pays off on a attempted wrap around, breaking the tie at 6:30. With the period coming to a end the King’s built on they’re lead, with a short handed Sharmin Alam (unassisted) goal at 14:23.

In the third the intensity continued with both teams going all out, however it was the king’s Issaac Vescio (Sharmin Alam) who tallied for the 4-1 King’s win.
