Simi Linton, a wheelchair-riding social activist takes us out dancing with the avant-garde of disabled artists and radical thinkers – unstoppable in their quest for “equality, justice, and a place on the dance floor”.

2:00 pmFilm Screening followed by panel discussion with Dr. Eliza Chandler, Ryerson School of Disability Studies and Tangled Art + Disability

4:00 – 6:00 pm – Mixed Abilities Dance Event with DJ and 5Rhythms® Teacher Layah Jane (by donation)

This event is wheelchair accessible with ASL and attendant care at the screening. There will be attendant care at the dance party. To arrange for ASL at the dance party, or for other accessibility needs please contact Eliza (eliza@tangledarts.org) by March 15.
