Update January 2017: Signs Restaurant has unfortunately shut down in December 2016.
Update: Our apologies, unfortunately, District Oven is not wheelchair accessible due to a step outside the restaurant.
Valentines Day is coming and I’m sure you’re seeking the perfect spot to spend an evening with your loved one. We have compiled a list of the accessible restaurants in each neighbourhood of Toronto. The criteria used to select these restaurants are based on this year’s Winterlicious restaurants that described themselves as accessible, ratings and reviews from various websites such as Yelp, TripAdvisor or Google, and reviews from accessto (a website that highlights accessible restaurants, bars, and pubs in Toronto).
Annex
Café Boulud is a French restaurant that is located inside the Four Seasons Hotel. It is the perfect restaurant to take your date. French cuisine at a hotel. What more could you ask for?
Danforth/Greektown
Globe Bistro has a very rustic look that serves Canadian cuisine. From looking at the menu, it looks like a fancy restaurant to take your date. The food seems to be fresh and new. As reviewed on accessto.

Rally Sports Bar & Smokehouse is a great place to take your date if you both love sports and smoked meat. If that is the case, then this is the perfect destination. As a sports fanatic, I would definitely take my date there!
Entertainment District
If you love Asian food, then go to Lee an Asian Fusion restaurant. I would take my family there. Only dinner is available. Unfortunately, the washroom is not wheelchair accessible.

Canoe is located at the top of the TD Bank Tower. This Canadian restaurant is the perfect place for a spectacular view of Toronto and great food. It is one of the many restaurants owned by Oliver and Bonacini. I really enjoyed the experience at the restaurant, and I would recommend taking your date.
Liberty Village/West Toronto
The Drake Hotel is a cool and fun restaurant to visit from the food and artistic feel. As reviewed on accessto.
Little Italy
Even though the decor seems simplistic at District Oven, the menu offers some delicious Mediterranean cuisine. I would certainly take my family to this restaurant. Only dinner is available.

Midtown
Copa Cabana looks like a restaurant that will transport you directly to Brazil. The menu features a variety of meats carved right at your table. I would definitely take my date or family to this restaurant. It is only available for dinner.
North Toronto
Chop Steakhouse & Bar looks like a classy restaurant where I would take my date.

If you and your date love seafood, then Pure Spirits Oyster House & Grill is the restaurant for you. It is located in the historic Distillery District, which can be romantic for your first date.
Yorkville
Crème Brasserie is a great restaurant to take someone on a date, right from the classy decor and the delicious French cuisine.
Downtown
Biff’s Bistro offers casual French dining. The decor would brighten up my day and my dates’ as well. As reviewed on accessto.
If you love Chinese food, then Luckee is another restaurant to take your date to. Maybe you will get “Luckee” if you know what I mean. The decor will transport you all the way to China. Only dinner is available. As reviewed on accessto.
Signs Restaurant and Bar is the first Canadian restaurant where the first language is American Sign Language. I would recommend for everyone to check out this restaurant. As reviewed on accessto.
